I love Indian food and the flavors in this oatmeal are so good! The cardamom and the mango compliment each other perfectly. If you have never tried cardamom, it is a nice warm and mild spice used in chai. This recipe is a perfect way to mix up your usual breakfast!
Mango Cardamom Oatmeal
1/2 c. instant oats
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. ground flax seed
1/2 c. mango, diced
1/3 c. non-dairy milk
1/4 tsp. cardamom
sweetener of choice, optional
Microwave the oats and water for 2 min. Then add the flax, cardamom, mango, milk, and sweetener if using. Stir and microwave another 1 min. and 45 sec. Enjoy!
